The city has a strong art and theater presence, and a progressive university town attitude thanks to Murray State University. Kentucky Lake is the perfect place to call home and living at Western Shores you'll have access to Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley, Paducah and all of western Kentucky. Kentucky and Barkley Lakes, joined by a free-flowing canal, form one of the largest man-made bodies of water in North America. The two lakes have over 4,000 miles of shoreline and over 300 miles of water, providing a variety of recreational and outdoor activities year-round.
